Our first project of the new year has been opening up and creating space in this well established garden for lots of new plants in spring, putting in a new chestnut pole tunnel from one section of the garden to the other, and making a stepping stone path through the congested middle section.
This will be filled with foliagey, ferny woodland plants in the spring, with more colourful planting for the cleared and prepped sunny border.
